jacqui + tim / robertson hotel, southern highlands / 5 november 2021

I met Jacqui & Tim when I was fortunate enough to photograph Jacqui’s sister Bec in 2018. Three years later I got the honour to be amongst one of the lovelist families I’ve ever met yet again.

Jacqui & Tim booked me as their photographer a few years before their wedding, but like many couples COVID had put a halt on their date and had to postpone their wedding twice. Third time lucky they finally got to have their day and nothing, not even foggy, rainy weather was going to dampen it.

Jacqui & Tim met through high school together but didn’t start dating until their final year. Tim proposed at the same place they had their first date, a local lookout.

The theme was Gatsby inspired with guests wearing a combination of black and white with the stunning art deco Robertson Hotel as their backdrop.

Everything about their day was awesome, great food, great staff, great location, killer dance moves, happy tears, laughter but most of all witnessing the respect and love these two lovely humans have for each other.

What I cherish the most is the trust that this family put in me to photograph another wedding within the family, word of mouth means so much more than any advertising would do.
